"I roller skated through my last treatment!"

On March 13, 1997, I stepped sideways down the parking lot of Stanford Hospital stairs on my roller skates.

I rolled through the hospital practically unnoticed as if I was wearing two turbo wheelchairs, I rolled into the radiation unit where I was greeted by an amused staff.

I waited for longer than usual for my zapping, for unbeknownst to me, the radiation machine was getting decorated, I got my last beamlet of radiation.

At long last I wheeled myself out as a SURVIVOR and put on my walking shoes!
