March 1998 Updates!

March 13, 1998
Today is my one year anniversary of being a survivor! I was going to try to make this a special day, you know, do something monumentous. Instead, I will have some sort of private ceremony, something that means something just to me. What matters is that I have gone through an entire year without relapsing. I consider it a milestone in my life, and it is my life - so it is important to me!

Other news is that I have another article that I wrote, an expanded version of the one in the Well Being Journal, that is coming out in about ten days. It is in Stanford's Surviving magazine, a magazine for cancer patients. I am on the cover, and I have a photo, lots of my visualization illustrations and a poem in the issue. So that is a good thing!

Other than that, I have a lot of things in the works that I dare not talk about for that takes the energy out of them. Just know that my brain and my goals are not stagnating, and that my persistence has got to stand for something. Now that this one year has passed, I think it is time to rev-up my engines!
