Recipes To Create A Healthy Body
(During Chemo and Radiation)

Add to bowl and mix together:

Boiled and cut chicken pieces
3 stalks of celery chopped
8oz of sliced almonds lightly browned in butter
1 small chopped red onion
3 chopped green onions
1 8oz can of Mandarin Oranges
2 tblsp. mayonnaise
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp. soy sauce
Salt to taste

Chill and serve with fresh French bread and thinly sliced Gouda.

 

Add to large cooking pot and boil for 20 minutes:

6 skinless chicken breasts
4 cups of spring/bottled water
Chicken broth mix

Remove chicken, de-bone and cut into small pieces.

5 minutes prior to serving, add to pot:

Corn cut from two cobs
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 baby bok choy cut from bottom
2 parsnips sliced at an angle
2 carrots sliced at an angle
Salt to taste

Serve with fresh warm French bread and hot ginger tea.

 

Hot Burrito Lunch

Place all the ingredients on the table, and make a custom burrito.

Spread onto heated tortillas (1 package):

Heated refried beans
Shredded jack or cheddar cheese
Chopped yellow onions
Chopped tomatoes
Salsa of your choice
Mashed avocado
Sour cream

Roll Burritos and eat immediately.

Serve with a hot glass of  tea.

Cold Burrito Lunch

Spread onto tortillas :

Mashed avocado
Chopped red onions
Chopped tomatoes or salsa

Roll burritos and serve cold with cold fruit juice.

 

Add on top of 1/2 cup of cottage cheese:

1/2 sliced avocado
1/2 sliced tomato
Chopped red onion
Chopped green onion
Sprinkle with small amount of blue cheese dressing

Serve with Pumpernickel bread and hot Red Clover Tea.

 

Mix together in a large attractive ceramic bowl:

2 cups cut watermelon
2 cups cut honeydew melon
2 cups cut cantaloupe melon
2 cups cut crenshaw melon

Serve with French bread, thinly sliced Swiss cheese 
and iced Red Clover Tea.

 

Mix together in a large attractive ceramic bowl:

3 cut mangos
3 cut papayas
3 sliced Kiwi fruit
3 sliced bananas

Serve outside with plain yogurt and hot orange spice tea.

 

Mix together in a large attractive ceramic bowl:

2 cups sliced strawberries
1 cup blueberries
1 cup blackberries
1 cup raspberries

Serve outside with plain yogurt and a large glass of spring water.

 

Wash red and green grapes thoroughly:

1 bunch of red seedless grapes
1 bunch of green seedless grapes

Remove grapes from stems, dab dry and place in a flat container.
Place container of grapes in the freezer until frozen.
Place frozen grapes in a freezer bag and keep in freezer.

Serve on a hot day as a snack or refreshing desert.

Delicious Alternatives

Frozen blueberries, blackberries and peaches!
Follow the same procedure for all fruits!
