Day 10

Wednesday 21st Feb.  

Well what a team we are!  My counts were fine!!  So treatment went ahead today.  II also had a chest x-ray because of this infection that has been so troublesome since Friday,

I'm now on a course of antibiotics. I had a bit of trouble after my treatment I got a bit breathless and then got the chills.  I've had these intermittently for the past couple days and ended up having a VERY embarrassing interlude in the ECG department naked from the waist up with the electrode things - shaking like an epileptic fit.  I get these chills and I just can't stop shaking,  so of course the ECG didn't work.  How the poor woman got thru without laughing I don't know.   

So then the Doctor wanted me to stay in the hospital but I pleaded to come home, and I'm under oath that if my temp goes up again I go straight back in. So a nice night in my own bed.

As I write this the sweat is pouring off me.  I did have a week relief from the sweats.
