About HelloCancer
HelloCancer is a new concept based on the "Blorty" brand of visualization techniques developed by Diana Hinnrichs during her fifteen months of chemotherapy and radiation treatment for Hodgkin's Disease. The first mission of HelloCancer is to share healing tools with kid's with cancer and other disabilities. The goal is to teach kids, and later adults, how to regain the power and hope that a diagnosis of cancer and illness takes away. These healing tools incorporate Diana's unique method of teaching others how to construct effective visualizations utilizing "Blortlanders," a cast of characters she began creating as a child.

What is a Visualization?
A visualization is a picture you make up in your mind. Think of what you want to see, and imagine it. It is like making a movie in your head, where you are the director and you decide what is going to happen. The most powerful healing images come from your own mind, where the images involve personal experiences and are allowed to evolve naturally.

What is Innertalk?
Innertalk is the conversation inside your head that accompanies the images in your visualizations. Imagine, inviting your cancer to a tea party, a chemo tea party. As the host of the party, introduce yourself to your cancer.

"Nice to meet you Cancer. Welcome to my chemo tea party."

Continue talking to your cancer.

"Please enjoy this big cup of a chemo tea that I made especially for you. Drink up Cancer, and then you must be on your way."

Pause to feel the power within yourself as you knowingly watch your cancer gulp the chemo tea. Continue talking.

"Cancer, it is time to go! You are no longer welcome in my body. You look confused, so let me make it clear. Tea time is over! Please go away! It is my party and those are my rules. Oh, if you are still here next week, please do stop by for my next chemo tea party. I will make an extra strong batch just for you."

That was an example using innertalk to direct the cancer out of your body in a positive and friendly way. There is no need for an energy consuming battle, and the cancer is reduced to a powerless being.
